La investigaci\u00f3, liderada pel Centre de Recerca en Sanitat Animal (-IRTA-CReSA) i la participaci\u00f3 NEIKER-Instituto Vasco de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo Agrario (tots dos socis d\u2019INNOTUB), juntament a Animal &amp; Plant Health Agency del Regne Unit i l\u2019empresa Lionex Diagnostics and Therapeutics GmbH, d\u2019Alemanya, ha avaluat diverses estrat\u00e8gies de vacunaci\u00f3, incloent l\u2019\u00fas de la vacuna Bacille Calmette-Gu\u00e9rin (BCG) i vacunes inactivades de <em>Mycobacterium bovis<\/em> (HIMB), amb l\u2019objectiu de desenvolupar eines diagn\u00f2stiques m\u00e9s precises que permetin diferenciar entre animals vacunats i infectats.<br>Els resultats d\u2019aquest estudi destaquen el potencial de la vacunaci\u00f3 intranasal amb BCG, una aproximaci\u00f3 innovadora que ha demostrat ser capa\u00e7 d\u2019induir una resposta immune robusta sense generar interfer\u00e8ncies significatives en les proves de diagn\u00f2stic basades en ant\u00edgens definits com ESAT-6, CFP10 i EspC. Aquests ant\u00edgens s\u00f3n fonamentals per implementar proves DIVA (Differentiating Infected from Vaccinated Animals). La vacunaci\u00f3 intranasal no nom\u00e9s aprofita el fet que la infecci\u00f3 per tuberculosi es produeix principalment a trav\u00e9s de les vies respirat\u00f2ries, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 redueix els efectes adversos associats a altres vies d\u2019administraci\u00f3, com la subcut\u00e0nia.<br>D\u2019altra banda, l\u2019estudi tamb\u00e9 ha investigat r\u00e8gims de vacunaci\u00f3 combinats que inclouen una primera dosi subcut\u00e0nia seguida d\u2019un refor\u00e7 intranasal. Aquesta estrat\u00e8gia ha mostrat bons resultats pel que fa a la inducci\u00f3 de respostes immunit\u00e0ries i algun dels candidats testats tamb\u00e9 ha demostrat bona compatibilitat amb les proves de diagn\u00f2stic DIVA.<br>Aix\u00ed doncs, l\u2019\u00fas d\u2019ant\u00edgens definits en les proves diagn\u00f2stiques d\u2019intradermoreacci\u00f3 i de l\u2019interfer\u00f3-gamma ha eliminat gaireb\u00e9 per complet les interfer\u00e8ncies causades per les vacunes, millorant significativament la fiabilitat d\u2019aquestes eines diagn\u00f2stiques. Aix\u00f2 representa un aven\u00e7 crucial per als programes de control de la tuberculosi animal, especialment en zones amb alta densitat ramadera o on la malaltia encara representa un desafiament sanitari i econ\u00f2mic rellevant.<br>Aquests resultats s\u00f3n particularment rellevants per a la ramaderia caprina a Espanya, que compta amb una de les majors poblacions de cabres d\u2019Europa. Els resultats d\u2019aquesta investigaci\u00f3 podrien transformar els programes de control de la malaltia, promovent una producci\u00f3 ramadera m\u00e9s sostenible i reduint els riscos per a la salut p\u00fablica.<br>Aquest estudi ha estat finan\u00e7at pel Ministeri de Ci\u00e8ncia i Innovaci\u00f3 d'Espanya i l\u2019Ag\u00e8ncia Estatal d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 (Ref.
